In November 2016, SYSGO was certified by DQS GmbH according to the ISO/IEC standard 27001:2013. With this, the independent auditors of DQS confirm that we, as a manufacturer of operating systems and development tools for embedded applications, have a comprehensive information security management system (ISMS) at all locations and have implemented secure, documented processes.
Our integrated management system is based on a comprehensive quality management system and information security. The QM system at our company was one of the first in Germany to be successfully certified according to ISO 9001:2015 in 2015. Based on this system, we have analysed and optimised all processes within the company in terms of efficiency and, above all, security - from physical access and communication security to business continuity management and compliance.
Our customers use our software to develop safety-critical systems for industrial applications in the aerospace, railway and automotive industries. We also support them in the certification of such systems. Our customers need to be sure that we, as a partner, have also implemented secure processes ourselves and are protecting all valuable data. With the certification according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013, we give our customers this security.
ISO/IEC 27001 specifies the requirements for the production, introduction, operation, monitoring, maintenance and improvement of a documented information security management system and also takes into account individual risks within the entire organisation. The aim of the standard is to support companies in ensuring data protection and information security in compliance with legal requirements.
