The collaboration will integrate SYSGO’s PikeOS, which is widely recognized for its real-time performance, strong application separation, and wide ecosystem of guest operating systems, with NexCOBOT’s open and modular robotic control solutions. PikeOS is security certified to Common Criteria EAL 5+, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring secure connectivity and communication. In addition, NexCOBOT’s SCB100 board, based on Intel’s Atom chipset, is the first x86-based SIL 2 functional safety control unit available on the market, setting a new benchmark in industrial robotic safety.
