ELinOS, the embedded Linux development environment from SYSGO, now supports Adobe Flash Lite 3.1.

SYSGO today announced the availability of PikeOS on MPL’s ruggedized PIP10 platform, enabling the use of virtualization technologies in extreme environments. PikeOS allows multiple operating system APIs to run concurrently on one hardware platform, such as POSIX, Linux, and Java, thus supporting the effort of industrial manufacturers to reuse legacy code in long product life cycles.

With the opening of a subsidiary in Rostock, SYSGO AG is reacting to the increasing demand for PikeOS and related certification projects in safety-critical markets. The development site is to be expanded to 15 engineers over the next 18 months.

SYSGO today announced the availability of a PikeOS Board Support Package(BSP) for Freescale's MPC8379EMDS.
