SYSGO offers the new ELinOS 2.2 in two versions. For beginners, for evaluation and for learning and test phases, the BasicToolbox is still available. For professional use of embedded Linux, the Development Kit was developed with additional tools and a comprehensive support concept.
Both versions are available for the x86, PPC, ARM, MIPS and SH3 platforms from 14 July 2003.
"With the BasicToolbox, beginners can quickly create their first applications with embedded Linux and thus test whether Linux is a viable alternative for them", Knut Degen, CEO of SYSGO, explains the step. "With the comprehensive Development Kit we support professional users from the industry in developing real products based on Linux."
In addition to the real-time extensions RTAI, NewLXRT and LTT, the Development Kit contains the emulation libraries VxWorks2linux and pSOS2linux for the rapid migration of VxWorks and pSOS programs. The package is complemented by extensive, pre-configured sample programs and templates that cover the most important embedded functions. SYSGO's support rounds off the product.
