The solution provider Tieto has entered into a partnership with SYSGO. As a result, the two companies are pooling their expertise in embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS). The focus of the cooperation is on projects in the automotive and automation sectors in Germany. SYSGO today announced the availability of a PikeOS Platform Support Package (PSP) for the Kontron AM4100 AdvancedMC board. The AdvancedMC (AMC) board uses the latest generation Freescale E600 core MPC8641D dual-core processor. With the new PSP, PikeOS forms the basis for a multi-application system in the aircraft, which will be DO-178B certified.
