ERA has selected ELinOS for a new generation of MSS (Multilateration Surveillance System) radar system, which is scheduled for the beginning of 2006. Supported by the Czech SYSGO team ERA will migrate to Embedded Linux.

SYSGO announces the launch of a new ELinOS version for October. ELinOS has been worked over radically and now fully supports the virtualisation platform PikeOS. Thus, it offers a long-term and reliable foundation for the use of Linux in embedded systems and safety-critical applications.

SYSGO is making the FreeToolbox of the ELinOS product line available as a free download version. This adds another product to the popular embedded Linux development environment ELinOS, giving developers unrestricted access to Linux for embedded systems.

Software support for Kontron's COMs extended with ELinOS v3.1.

Together with its Japanese partner 4Link Systems SYSGO presents a Board Support Package for the i.MX21 processor (Dragonball) from Freescale. In cooperation with Freescale Japan Linux has been ported to the processor and the ADS board has been integrated in the ELinOS Board Support Program. With just a few clicks, an application-specific Linux system for Kontron's modules can be put together without the developer having to have precise knowledge of the internal interrelationships of the target systems. This saves expert knowledge plus a lot of time. Support is currently offered for the modules ETX-P3M, ETX-VE, ETX-MGX as well as X-board.

Phytec joins SYSGO's Custom Board Support Program for ELinOS.

DIGITAL-LOGIC and SYSGO have signed a partnership agreement that includes a Linux port for the Pentium-M-based smartModule( SM855 products. The PC/104-Plus board MSM855 and the EBX board MSEBX855 are also integrated into the embedded Linux development environment ELinOS.
